Classic Cheese Ball Recipe


This is the perfect appetizer for dinner parties or potlucks. Its simple ingredients, quick prep time, and beautiful presentation make this dish a favourite for all special celebrations.

Dish Type Appetizer








  • 250g Organic Meadow organic 15% cream cheese, room temperature

  • 170g Organic Meadow organic old cheddar cheese, shredded

  • ½ teaspoon organic garlic powder

  • 1 ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 organic green onions, sliced

  • A few dashes of hot sauce 

  • 250g of rough chopped organic roasted nuts of choice 





1. Mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, Worcestershire, green onions, and hot sauce in a bowl until well blended. Chop nuts, if required, and spread onto a board or flat baking sheet.


2. Form the cheese mixture into a ball with hands or a spoon. Roll the ball in the chopped nuts until completely covered. If you find the cheese mixture to be too soft, refrigerate for an hour before rolling in the nuts, this way the nuts will stay on the outside of the cheese ball. Cover the cheese ball with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours to let the flavours blend. 


3. Serve with your choice of crackers, baguette slices or cut up vegetables. Best served at room temperature to let the flavours come alive!
