  • Why do I need to shake the product?

Shaking Organic Meadow kefir before serving helps to maintain product consistency. Over time, the fruit, sugars and vitamins may settle to the bottom of the carton.

  • Is it safe to consume your cheddar cheeses and Swiss cheese made with raw milk?

Our cheddar cheeses and Swiss cheese are made from heat-treated milk, but not fully pasteurized.  Under the Canadian Food Inspection Agency regulations for labeling cheeses, they are still considered to be a raw cheese.  Because it takes 60 days or more to age the cheeses any bacteria that could be present in the cheese would be eliminated and are fully safe to consume by everyone.
